This is a real-time 3D recreation of the protagonist Caroline from the upcoming retro FPS Viscerafest. After watching the initial trailer and discovering an art reference sheet I thought it would be a great challenge adapting her into 3D whilst still retaining her character.
The majority of the character was created in ZBrush. The hair was initially made in Maya's XGen but found the realistic look clashed with the character's art style so I utilised Blender's curve tools which can be used to create some great stylised hair with good topology.
The character was textured in Substance Painter and rather than my usual choice of Marmoset 3D, I used Blender's EEVEE for the final render.
